Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
