The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
