Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
