Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
