Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 In gardens and springs; 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
