Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Surely for the godfearing shall be Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 that you will be granted whatever you choose? 38 Or is it that you have a covenant from Us, right up to the Day of Judgement, that you will get all what you claim? 39 Ask them, who among them is a guarantor for it? 40 Or has something been guaranteed by any of those whom they associate with Allah in His Divinity?” If so, let them bring forth their associates, if they are truthful. 41 (Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so, 42 Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished. 43 So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not: 44 I am giving them a respite. Great is My scheme! 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 had his Lord not bestowed His favour upon him, he would have been cast upon that barren shore (and would have remained there) in disgrace. 49 Thus did his Lord choose him and make him of the Company of the Righteous. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
