Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8
