Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
