T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. 7 God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 And what is in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 Moses answered: "This is my staff. I lean on it (when I walk), and with it I beat down leaves for my flock, and I have many other uses for it." 18 He said: 'Moses, cast it down' 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 [Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
