Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The Reality! 1 And what is that indubitable event? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that laying-bare of the truth will be? 3 The Thamud and 'Ad denied the consequential calamity. 4 But the Thamud,- they were destroyed by a terrible Storm of thunder and lightning! 5 And the 'Ad were destroyed by the furious cold blast of roaring wind 6 He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! 7 Do you see any vestige left of them now? 8 Then came the Pharaoh, and those before him whose habitations were overthrown while they were committing crimes. 9 They did not follow the Messenger of their Lord, and so He seized them with a severe grip. 10 Surely We bore you up in the ship when the water rose high, 11 That We might make it a Message unto you, and that ears (that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its (lessons) in remembrance. 12 And when the trumpet shall sound one blast 13 And the earth and the mountains shall be borne and the twain shall be crushed with a single crash. 14 on that Day the Great Event will come to pass. 15 The heaven will be split; because on that Day it will be frail. 16 and will turn frail, losing all force. The angels will be around the heavens and on that day eight of them will carry the Throne of your Lord above all the creatures. 17 On that day ye will be exposed; not a secret of you will be hidden. 18 Then he that will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Ah here! Read ye my Record! 19 Verily I was sure that I should be a meeter of my reckoning. 20 And he will be in a life of Bliss, 21 In a lofty Paradise, 22 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. 23 We shall say to him, "Eat and drink joyfully as a reward for the good deeds you did in days gone by." 24 But he who is given his record in his left hand will say, "If only I had never been given my Record 25 Nor that I knew my reckoning! 26 Would that death had taken us away for good. 27 Of no avail to me is all that I have [ever] possessed, 28 and my authority has vanished.” 29 (It will be said): 'Take him and bind him. 30 “Then hurl him into the blazing fire.” 31 “Then bind him inside a chain which is seventy arm-lengths.” 32 Verily he was wont not to believe in Allah, the Mighty. 33 “And did not urge to feed the needy.” 34 So no friend has he here this Day, 35 nor any food except foul pus 36 None shall eat it but the sinners. 37

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
