Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
