Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
