And recite to them the tiding of Abraham 69 when he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They answered: We worship idols, and we remain ever devoted to them." 71 (Abraham) asked: "Do they hear when you call them? 72 Do they help or harm you?" 73 They replied: 'No, but we found our fathers doing so' 74 He said: have ye observed that which ye worship 75 you and those ancient forebears of yours? 76 are my enemies? Not so the Lord of the Universe. 77 "Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me; 78 and He gives me to eat and drink, 79 and Who, when I am ill, heals me; 80 And He Who will cause me to die, then give me life; 81 "And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment. 82 (And then Abraham prayed): "My Lord, endow me with knowledge and wisdom and join me with the righteous, 83 give me a good name among later generations; 84 Make me inherit the bountiful Paradise. 85 and forgive my father, for he was among the astray. 86 And abase me not on the day when they are raised, 87 The day on which property will not avail, nor sons 88 but only he that brings to Allah a sound heart will (attain to success)." 89 Paradise will be brought near those who take heed for themselves and follow the straight path; 90 And Hell made visible to those who had gone astray. 91 They will be asked: "Where are those you worshipped 92 "'Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?' 93 Then the idols and those who strayed will be hurled into the Fire headlong, one upon another, 94 And the whole hosts of Iblis (Satan) together. 95 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: 96 "'By Allah, we were truly in an error manifest, 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Universe. 98 It is none but those steeped in guilt who led us into this error, 99 So we have no intercessors, 100 Nor any sincere friend. 101 Would that we might return again, and be among the believers' 102 In all this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 103 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
