The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
