The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 Raging Fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
