(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
