The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 And made them virginal, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
