We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition, but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)! 41 Say thou: were there along with Him other gods, as they say, then they would have brought unto the Owner of the Throne a way. 42 Glory be to Him! Exalted above all that they say! 43 The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving. 44 When you recite the Quran We place a curtain as a barrier between you and those who do not believe in the life to come. 45 And We put covers over their hearts and deafness in their ears that they should not understand it. So when you invoke your Lord alone in the Qur'an they turn their backs and walk away. 46 We know well with what (intent) they hear you, for when they confer privately the wicked say: "You follow but a man deluded." 47 Behold, how they strike similitudes for thee, and go astray, and cannot find a way! 48 And they say: What! when we shall have become bones and decayed particles, shall we then certainly be raised up, being a new creation? 49 Say: Become stones or iron, 50 ۞ or any other creation yet more monstrous in your minds' They will ask: 'Who will restore us' Say: 'He who originated you at first' They will shake their heads and ask: 'When will this be' Say: 'Maybe it is near, 51 on the day when He will call you, and you will answer praising Him, and you will think you have but tarried a little.' 52
