The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
