The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A burning fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
