The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
