Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
