Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who scatter (dust) by dispersing, 1 And those that lift and bear away heavy weights; 2 by the ships which smoothly sail on the oceans, 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 By the heaven with its numerous forms: 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 Through which are deluded (away from the Truth) such as would be deluded. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 The pious ones will live amidst gardens and springs, 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope]. 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 There is also evidence of the Truth within your own selves. Will you then not see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
