Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
YA SIN. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
