Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 He will suffer in a blazing fire 3 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
