The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
