The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
