In this Koran We have clarified so that they may remember; but it has only increased their aversion. 41 (Muhammad), ask them, "Had there been many other gods besides Him, as they say, they should have found a way to the Lord of the Throne 42 Holy is He and far above all that they say. 43 The seven heavens and the earth, and whosoever in them is, extol Him; nothing is, that does not proclaim His praise, but you do not understand their extolling. Surely He is All-clement, All-forgiving. 44 When you recite the Quran We place a curtain as a barrier between you and those who do not believe in the life to come. 45 And We placed covers upon their hearts so they may not understand it, and deafness in their ears; and when you mention your Only Lord in the Qur’an, they flee turning their backs in hatred. 46 When they listen to you, We know very well how they listen. When they conspire, when the evildoers declare: 'You are only following a man who is bewitched' 47 Just see how strange are the things they invent about you. They have altogether strayed, and are unable to find the right way. 48 The pagans say, "When we become mere bones and dust, shall we then be brought back to life again?" 49 Say: Become stones or iron, 50 ۞ or anything that you think is harder to be brought to life." They will soon ask, "Who will bring us back to life?" Say,"The One who created you in the first place." They will shake their heads and say, "When will He bring us back to life?" Say, "Perhaps very soon. 51 A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while. 52
