Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those that winnow with a winnowing 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 and those that apportion [the gift of life] at [God's] behest! 4 Lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true, 5 And indeed, the recompense is to occur. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 and perverted therefrom are some. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 receiving their reward from their Lord. They had been righteous people before the Day of Judgment. 16 They slept very little during the night 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
