Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
YaSeen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 on a Straight Way, 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
