Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 He said: O my people! not with me is the error, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 sent to preach to you the message of my Lord and to give you good advice. I know what you do not know about God. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 And yet they gave him the lie! And so We saved him and those who stood by him, in the ark, the while We caused those who had given the lie to Our messages to drown: verily, they were blind folk! 64
