And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 #NAME? 50 Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and wherein there shall be with them well-matched, bashful mates. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 [And] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Whoever has prepared this for us, double Thou his suffering in the fire!" 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64
