The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
