The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the mount. 1 And by the Book Inscribed. 2 In parchment unrolled. 3 by the much-frequented House, 4 and the roof uplifted 5 and by the swelling sea: 6 Verily, the Torment of your Lord will surely come to pass, 7 No one can avert it. 8 On the Day when the heaven will shake with a dreadful shaking, 9 and the mountains move, moving. 10 Then woe that Day to those that treat (Truth) as Falsehood;- 11 and who indulged in false disputes against (God's revelations). 12 A day when they will be pushed, forcibly shoved towards the fire of hell. 13 (And told:) "This is the fire which you denied. 14 “So is this magic, or are you unable to see?” 15 Now enter it. Whether you behave patiently or impatiently will make no difference: you are only being repaid for what you have done. 16 As to the Righteous, they will be in Gardens, and in Happiness,- 17 Enjoying in that which their Lord has bestowed on them, and (the fact that) their Lord saved them from the torment of the blazing Fire. 18 (And it is said unto them): Eat and drink in health (as a reward) for what ye used to do, 19 They would recline on couches set in rows, paired with fair companions (clean of thought and) bright of eye. 20 And as for those who have attained to faith and whose offspring will have followed them in faith, We shall unite them with their offspring; and We shall not let aught of their deeds go to waste: [but] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever he has earned. 21 And We will aid them with fruit and flesh such as they desire. 22 There they shall pass from hand to hand a (wine) cup, free from any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vague talk between them), and free from sin (because it will be legal for them to drink). 23 ۞ and there go round them youths, their own, as if they were hidden pearls. 24 And some of them draw near to others, questioning. 25 'When we were among our people' they will say, 'we were ever fearful, 26 Then Allah graced us with His favour and saved us from the chastisement of the scorching wind. 27 "Truly, we did call unto Him from of old: truly it is He, the Beneficent, the Merciful!" 28

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
