It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
