And recall when Moosa said to his assistant, “I will not give up until I reach the place where the two seas meet or until I have progressed for ages.” 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Moosa said to him, “May I stay with you upon the condition that you will teach me the righteousness that you have been taught?” 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention." 70
