And man saith: when I am daed, Shall I be presently brought forth alive. 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
