(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 and ease my task for me. 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 "And remember You much, 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
