۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
