The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
