The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
