Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 And those who recite the message, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
