And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night.
