Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
