And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 But (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know! 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from those [who deny the truth,] 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
