Also, remember Our worshiper Job. He called out to his Lord, (saying): 'satan has afflicted me with harm and pain' 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu al-Kifl. All were of the best. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end, 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64
