Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
