The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 Would that you understood what that crushing torment is like. 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in towering columns. 9
