Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3

Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 And assuredly We elected them with knowledge above the worlds. 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 These people say, 34 "There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 35 Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth! 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We did not create them save with a purpose, yet most people have no knowledge of this. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 the Day when no friend shall be of the least avail to his friend, and when none shall be succoured 41 save those to whom God shows mercy. Surely, He is the Mighty, the Merciful One. 42
