We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
